A summary of MSP Projects

Since MSP was set up we have undertaken a number of projects to help improve educational facilities in the Mpasa area. We have worked with local teams to build school buildings, provided student bursaries and scholarships, run teacher and headteacher training programmes, delivered books to nurseries, schools and literacy centres, and provided training for making reusable sanitary pads for some of the girl students in the area.

Our latest project is working with one of our trained students to introduce irrigated farming methods. Details of some of these projects can be seen by using the links below.

Support for students

In 2020 we decided to support one of our bursary students who had been offered a university place. Enabling some of these bright young people to access college and university places is now one of our main activities.

What you can do to help

None of the above projects could have been delivered in Malawi without the generous support of our donors. You can help us do more by running a fund raising event, donating or sponsoring a student or attending one of our events. These have included wine raffles, concerts in beautiful Sussex gardens, community events. Please see Donate or get in touch with us at themalawischoolsproject@gmail.com
